Thank you for the Italian translation!
I will include the locale in the next release.

Note: If the typical keyboard in your language/country has different arragements of keys from the U.S. keyboard, you may need to consider to change the second keybinding for zooming out/in.
As for U.S. keyboards "+" can be typed "=" with shift key, PageZoom also defines Alt+"=" for an alternative of Alt+"+".
For standard Japanese keyboard "=" is replaced by ";" so that ";" is defined for the second keybinding for zooming in, which conforms the textzoom keybindings of official Japanese localization of the Mozilla Firefox itself.

huh.gif Correction :
Now I succeed on having the default restoration by pressing Alt+Maj*+0 ( The 0 which is up the main keyboard) but still NOT when pressing Alt + 0 of the numpad (duly
activated) blink.gif

*Maj key on my keyboard is to get Upper characters (example R instead of r)

When you press '0' key in the main keyboard without a modifier, what is typed in a text editor or such? And '0' key with a Shift or Maj?

A user who uses Spanifh Firefox and Spanish keyboard reported that he also cannot restore zoom with Alt+Num0. I don't know why but I guess one possible reason is that Alt+Numpad input method in Windows is conflicting.

Yes it seems the explanation.
When in a simple textpad, Alt+(numpad)0 does not give anything, so it is no surprise it is the same with your extension
So we have to press
"Alt"+"Maj"+"0"(main keyboard)
It is not very handy, because the fingers are in the numpad zone for + and -, so I suggest you propose another more convenient key in a future version ? Several similar "zooming" extensions also use 3 buttons in the customize toolbar : increase/decrease/restore with little symbolic icons.

Maybe we can allocate both alt+"0" and alt+"à" (which is behind the "0" in French keyboard I suppose) for fr-FR locale to restore zoom, for the main keyboard.
For the numpad, alt+"*" or alt+"/" may be utilized for an alternate...
Anyway it needs well thought key bindings.

Speaking of the toolbar buttons, I already ask a friend of my friend to draw the button images. It is being prepared.

Hello dear translators,

I've uploaded the pre-release version of new PageZoom 0.2.2 extension
that includes es-ES, fr-FR, it-IT and tr-TR locales (with bugfix that
it didn't work well with tab browsing).
Updated in the first post!

Please check it if it works with your translated locale of Firefox.
Try them: installing, checking the option dialog and Alt +/-/0.
Just a one minute check is enough.

If anything wrong found, please let me know. Otherwise you don't need
to report.

It will be released shortly. Thank you for your assistance!

This updated version works fine, like that previous one, both on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005111116 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; it; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051202 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005120209 biggrin.gif

If you need some screenshot (for confirmation) about the option dialog window, please let me know

smile.gif Everything is working fine now with Alt + o
I added a little change to the french description line in order to be clear with users it is Alt + letter o (and not zero)
So the updated french locale is to be grabbed here on the wts smile.gif

Thanks Goofy, I've included it!

Now I've uploaded the new pre-release file pagezoom-0.2.2pre2.xpi.

The changes are as follows:
1. Changed es-ES contributor name to Proyecto Nave.
2. Applied the change Goofy made for fr-FR locale.
3. Included the zh-CN Simplified Chinese locale (which is done outside babelzilla).

I believe this is the last version before the 0.2.2 release.

Note: I'm already making new changes to implement the toolbar buttons, independently from this 0.2.2 using another branch of version control system, so new release (say version 0.3.0) will also come soon. smile.gif

Hi deq,
Everyday I receive an e-mail with the subject "Locale update requested for PageZoom", but I already updated the translation and your pre-release works fine. Is my translation file ("pagezoom.dtd") ok?

Here is the problem; in WTS, in pagezoom.dtd file, the value of "pagezoom.reset.commandkey" must be "0"(zero), but when I write 0 and save, WTS does not accept the value and when I enter the translation page again, that part is shown as untranslated. I tried to download the pagezoom.dtd file, translated and uploaded to WTS, but the result is same. What can we do about this?

It is ok, as far as I look at the file.

I saw the page and it is shown in another color (flesh color), though the file is indicated "9 of 9 translated, 100%".
I don't know how we should do exactly... maybe need to report to admins?

I think you are wrong ! wink.gif

It is letter o and not zero....That is why I made things clearer for french users.

-- on the other hand, I am not sure the 0 (zero) character is an issue on the wts but I will check that, thanks for mentioning
