Thanks for uploading this extension. I guess you know your way around BabelZilla, so giving you the links to the Q&A en list of translators is futile.

Unless you insist laugh.gif

You are right, welcome message, Q&A links, etc. would be like "carry coals to Newcastle" wink.gif And don't worry, I really don't insist on this smile.gif

Hi wladow,

I added the german localization. In the next days (or weeks dry.gif ) I will also update the german extension site erweiterungen.de.

Do you think it would be helpful to use a new id for the extension to give the users the possibility to use the older, smaller one?

Sorry for delay. First of all, thanx for localization. Well, i am not author of extension, just handling localization stuff. So i'll ask author about his opinion on this. Or you can do it yourself if you want - contact: Marc Gueury mgueury@skynet.be

An important note to all translators:
The tidy messages in "tidy.properties" contain some masked entities in their descriptions, e.g. & or ' (see tidy_4: "unescaped & which should be written as &").

Unfortunately, WTS will convert these if you save your translation, resulting in a sentence like "unescaped & which should be written as &", which doesn't make much sense of course. dry.gif

I tried to avoid the problem by inserting a masking backslash: "unescaped & which should be written as &\amp;".
Although I wasn't able so far to invoke a message which would show me if this works, I think this should be ok.

Any feedback on this is welcome.

Danish released.

ReinekeFux > As far as I can tell, if you enter those entities as-is (like & amp; w/o the space) and save the file, it's stored correctly in the WTS file. Problem only occurs if you re-open the file in WTS for further editing, I guess.

Glad to see this one on BBZ.

If there is no solution for this, I can edit this manually for all locales before sending them to author.

Thank you for locale. Yes, you are right, WTS converts this only when editing. I will keep this in mind to check locales before including them into official release.

French locale ready.

I saw that in the install.rdf file there was no <em:locale>locale/fr-FR/tidy/</em:locale> line although there was a fr-FR folder in the xpi provided here. I'm used to use this extension for month and the last automatic update (0.8.3.9) was in english (to fast this update i think, the author should wait a bit more before releasing...but his the master wink.gif )

When testing the extension a message prompted :
CODE
<ERROR>CheckTranslation : wrong number of arguments (code=21)

But the extension works (I didn't notice any disturbance).
Many lines still in english and I don't know if providing a translation of the htmlpedia strings would fix this. Could you give me more information about that ?

Thanks a lot

I just saw that the first translator of this extension (GregK84) who was contacted by goofy but couldn't continue his work on it, translated also a large number of html files (tidy). In attachment the folder containing this files. I will update them as soon as possible. wink.gif

Thank you.

I didn't notice this message while testing with sk locale. Is it possible to simulate this somehow?

Since I install the testing version this dialog appears on each startup of my testing profile. I will see if I could investigate furthermore about simulating.

Sorry wladow, but I don't understand why this dialog appears ! dry.gif unsure.gif
Maybe it is something in the install.rdf file ?

I tried 2 xpis : one with the fr tidy help and one without the translated files of tidy help (located in the content folder of the jar). The dialog appears for each of them ranting2.gif
I leave you the 2 xpi tested in attachment unsure.gif
