@ translator friends : there is only one line of description to translate and one number to change for your language glossary smile.gif
19 is for Italian
...

Dear Jean-Bernard,

great new extension, surely it will be useful!
I've just registered as Italian translator, and I've a probable stupid a not necessary request tongue.gif : may I use different words (obviously with the same general meaning) for the description?
Please, let me know
TIA

laugh.gif laugh.gif Sure it is quite unnecessary for a senior translator like you : obviously you are welcome to change the sentence the way you feel it is better for the Italian.

Now with this nice extension, I'm thinking about making a English-Dutch glossary, to help other Dutch translators with the right spelling of words and the (sometimes complicated) Dutch grammar.
Is it possible for you or an admin to create/open this glossary and maybe it is possible to add the English words from another glossary (e.g French) into this, so I have a base to start with?

PS: I allready translated this extension into Dutch (big deal), so there is a start...

I have just created the English/Dutch Glossary (number is 63) but I don't know if it is possible to fill it with another existing glossary as you wish. Maybe a little PM to Fenian could clear this point because he is The One Who Knows Things smile.gif
As a sidenote, ask him too to set your permission for editing your glossary (public view but one editor only)

Thanks for your concern smile.gif

Only a suggestion: IMHO it's not necessary to load the BZ page.
Maybe it's better to show only the term & definition.

Sure ! I would like very much to do that, but I have so very few knowledge that I simply don't know how to do it. I would very much like to have a display output à la dictionary tooltip (see demo at the bottom of the page) in spite of opening a new tab.
Maybe you can tell me how to get a more direct "query" to the glossary database ?

Well, I can provide you a "more direct query" if necessary wink.gif

mmh there seems to be no English/Russian glossary up to now. Of course we can create one, but I think Russian members prefer to use their already existing glossary on moz.ru

Dutch (nl-NL) translation completed, tested and released.

The direct link to the glossary result is so much better...

Is it possible to give automatically focus to the tab with the glossary result ?
And if there are users who prefer NOT to give focus (why?, you want to know the result, don't you?) to the tab, could you make a Option to choose it?
