There is also some HTML files in the locale folder for the LyricMaster Help section that I put there to let translators have access to them.

Just a bit of information for you: in case you have some queries about the WTS, you can find short and simple Questions&Answers about it here!

In case you're looking for a specific translator, please see the list of available translators on BabelZilla.
When you select the desired one, you can send him/her a P.M. or an e-mail (if and when public).

You may also insert a new Topic in the Help Section, in order to ask for specific translations, to write a general request about missing translations, etc.

I've started es-ES localization, the main strings are translated but I'll need more time to do the HTML files. Could you use the current translation without the HTML help files in meantime?

smile.gif About these .htm files again...
I know it is quite a work to do, but maybe you could consider having xhtml files in the content and more usual .dtd in the locales ?

See howto here

@Nukeador - Waiting on the HTML is perfectly fine, I don't expect a lot of people using it anyway. I will be putting that in, and uploading the new version tonight.

@Goofy - I looked into "entifying" everything in the help files, but it was going to take a bit of moving the code around to do so, on top of the time to put everything into Entitys. I figured as little as the help will probably be used, I would put it in the locale folder so translators would have access to it, but it wasn't all that important to be translated. I'll look at converting everything over as my time allows.

smile.gif Yes quite understandable, things are ok in the current state. Sure moving strings to the locale (and testing xhtml validity) is quite a time-consuming task...

I have begun as a sample the about.htm --> about.xhtml (partially). among other things, I supose you will need css inline style (instead of bgcolor for instance).

See this version where about.xhtml is in the content, and about.dtd in the locale

I've updated the help files so they are now in <Entities> . I downloaded and included everything that everyone had done so far and added them in so they wouldn't lose progress on what had been done before, but in the process I lost Lukas_Skywalker from the German translation, not sure why. Hopefully this makes it easier for everyone. Any questions let me know.

Thanks for your help.

The extension is showing an interface error in its l10n version. Please fix this ASAP, it's a big problem since songbird tell the users to reload in English or Exit the application. By the way es-ES is updated except the help files.

Hi, I translated the whole LyricMaster into German, because I love using it, but I can't upload it.
So there's the new xpi-file here.
I hate this Web translation system, sorry.

Well, thanks unsure.gif

You cannot upload because you are not the registered translator. The current translator however does not seem to have been here for more than one day, so may I suggest you contact him by PM and discuss? If he agrees we can set you to take over the locale.

Two weeks ago, I commented that the eu (basque) localization was ready. Please, don't forget it, I'm looking forward.

The basque translation is waiting, like the basque users. Please add the localisation. Thanks.

Question/Bug about the German Translation of LyricMaster:

I see that the translation is done for 1.6.1.2 -
German de 105 100% 0
But when I install Songbird there it updates LyricMaster 1.7.5 automatically to 1.7.5.
And it is still displayed in english. Not in German. But all Songbird itself is displayed in German right.

In LyricMaster 1.7.5 About-page it states:

Mitwirkende:
...
dogi - translate.songbirdnest.com (de-DE Translation).
...

-----

So, looks all good. Why LyricMaster will get displayed still in english???

Has it to do with the transition from "de-DE" to "de" probably?

Mhhhm it looks like that the German locale is not included at all in the xpi, seems it has dropped out since version 1.7.0.0 unsure.gif
