It sounds like the same problem we have had with some other add-ons. If so, the translation isn't really missing, it's just not visible in the list. We don't know why this happens, but we know what happens: for some reason the "show in list" parameter is set to zero, preventing the locale from showing. I'll forward your post to Fenian, so he can have a look at it.
