It's been suggested to me that translating into Norweigan is not worth the effort because

- Norweigan English is quite good, especaily amongst IT workers
- large portions of my text are technical (Web technology specific) and have no common Norweigan equivalent.

Any thoughts?

And in case I forget to mention it later: Thanks.

FYI, in the context of this extension, "Tamper" and "tamper with" are synonyms of "modify" or "change".

I have some requests for you: may you create an entity in order to move in the locale folder the value contained in the following string ?
From tamperURI.xul file, line 90
CODE
<label control="tamper.uri.ref" value="Reference"/>

And finally, may you add the localized description of Tamper Tada ?
Many thanks in advance smile.gif

Someone has sent me a Ukrainian translation.

I don't see it in WTS, and I'm not sure about the locale code (I'm using uk-UA).

Any thoughts?

Via e-mail ?
Sorry, I don't want to be indiscreet (but I'd like only to understand)
In this case, and if this translator didn't yet joined, please may you invite him on BabelZilla ? smile.gif
Or, if you prefer, may you P.M (me, or another Admin) the email-address of that translator ?
Thanks biggrin.gif

Yes. I had posted a note on my extension's home page requesting translations.

I have been pointing translation volunteers to babelzilla, but in this case he preffered
to proceed via email.

I'm still confused about Ukrainian, as I don't know the locale, and don't see any
reference to it elsewhere on the site.

Hi Adam.
Polish files are in WTS.
I have some remarks for this extension:
1. You use in the 'caption' element 'flex="1"' This caused open outline in the groupboxes
2. You use width and height parameters for window and dialog. This caused ,in the some localization, problem with matching to the window size.
3. Line 38 in the tamperData.properties file matching to nothing

I made some corrections in the *.xul files which resolves this problems. Please check included files and inform me about your opinion.

Good catch re. sizes and flex, I've implemented your changes.

The value on line 38 tamper.menu.select.file is used when you select "Add elements
from file" from the context menu in either the "Replay In Browser" popup, or in the
tampering popup.

It is called from tamperMenu.js - this.langString("select.file") where
langString is a function defined in tamperLang.js and prefixes the key with
the component key ("tamper.menu." in this case).
