Swedish locale is about ready. I just need to adjust a couple of things... But why are there so many strings that don't get translated?... And as Sergey mentionned, when right-clicking on a link to download with dTa the URL doesn't "make it" to the window and it is there impossible to download...

EDIT: oh... I see the language problem was reported by Sonickydon... I see exactly the same strings in english...

Swedish locale ready with updates!

Anybody experienced troubles when trying to save on teh desktop with dTa!OneClick? It keeps telling me that the desktop isn't a valid destination folder and in the destination dialog there is no desktop to choose... (I can choose by browsing to it C:\Application Data\xxxx\Dektop but it won't allow me to save there...)

The locale is set (bg-BG), but the Preferences window doesn't show up for some reason. Atually only parts of it show up, and others flash as if trying to show up but can't.

Hi, guys.
We uploaded the latest version of dTa. All the troubles with encoding should be fixed. We've also added a few phrases to translate.
You'll have to wait a little to localize the about window smile.gif

Let us know if you find new bugs in locales, please.

Bye,
Federico

hmmm.. I've added the new strings in the locale..but i can't see them.. Are you sure you've uploaded the xpi right? cause the one i got from babelzilla in order to test the locale has the exact same problems with the previous, plus there's no sound options somewhere.

I can see the sound option... but the translation problems (many strings don't get translated) remain ranting2.gif . But the bug with the conte xt menu "save link with" dialog is solved! rockon.gif

Steffoz: I discovered a couple of stupid typos in my locales so I re-uploaded the files! Just to let you know... please update the extension!

Has changed variants of translation of some items and it would be desirable, that they have been updated in extansion

OK , it takes an unistall of the extension and a re-installion to see the new items.. however the problems of the previous versions remain intact. The non-translated strings in the image i attached previously are still not translated and the size issue of the options panel is also there!!! A user that will open the options panel from the Firefox extensions manager will not be able to see and configure all of them

Stefano!!!
Please read this post carefully and make changes which I propose.

1. In the mainPane.xul file are strings:
CODE
<caption id="soundsCap" label="&soundsCap.label;" />
<checkbox id="soundDone" label="&sounddone.label;" preference="dtadone"/>
<checkbox id="soundError" label="&sounderror.label;" preference="dtaerror"/>

These strings matching to nothing. In the prefpanes.dtd file haven't entities 'sounddone.label' , sounderror.label and soundsCap".

2. These phrases:
Do you like dTa? Well, then please considerer making a small donation.
Keep dTa always reliable and free. Make a small donation.
To support further development of dTa, we also need your help.
We're working hard to provide you the best Download Manager in FF.
Help us making dTa grow. Consider making a small donation.
Do you like DTA? Why your friends shouldn't? Help us grow!
dTa is updated on a daily basis in our free time. Help us grow!

from dtd.js file should be moved to *.properties file.

3. Add to about.dtd file these entities:
CODE
<!ENTITY title "About DownThemAll!">
<!ENTITY version "ver. ">
<!ENTITY authors "Copyright © 2004-2006 By:">
<!ENTITY graphics "Icons and buttons are based on the works of Mike Matas and Jakub Steiner - © Michael Matas, © Jakub Steiner, © Novell, Inc.">
<!ENTITY warranty "DownThemAll! comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; this is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions:">
<!ENTITY licence "View license for details.">
<!ENTITY privacy "Privacy notice.">
<!ENTITY language "English translation made by:">
<!ENTITY homepage "Home Page">
<!ENTITY mail "E-mail">
<!ENTITY close "Close">
and use included about.xul file
Believe me, About window should be translated!!

Please inform us about your decision.

Apparently version 0.9.9.1 has been released... Steffano is having surgery according to the homepage. My thoughts to him and hope that he gets well soon.

As to-do's I would like to point out a couple of things:
*In the homepage it says "slovak (sv-SE)" has been released!
*The swedish files are old ones, I have since corrected a couple of stupid typos and I hope the xpi available to the public will soon be updated.

Once again, I understand if things are getting slower right now and wish Steffano all the best!

Hi,

in first place welcome! biggrin.gif
After you tested your localization (and if you agree and think can be useful asked another gl-ES translator for a control), you can set it as Released.

French locale of new version released wink.gif
There something going wrong with the help html files when uploaded (some strings still in english). So I prefer to attach them here, I believe it is a bug on wts.
I tested it and would like to give some advices.
In my language, we must set a space before the ":" wich is not the case in the dta windows (see screenshot below). I would suggest you to integer the ":" in the translated string to fix this.
In the manager.html file, line 11, you must replace the </br> by <br />.
In the select.html some </li> are missing or on the wrong place. It's also the case for one </ul> tag.
Thanks a lot.
