We are happy to announce the arrival of a new player in the localization game: the KOMODO langpack has arrived! You may have noticed the board entry here. If you have followed or worked on the SpiceBird langpack translation, you may find the job on Komodo is very similar!
Please be aware that the Komodo langpack includes several large files, although it is not as massive as the SpiceBird pack. It is therefore highly recommended to do this job as a team effort, where possible of course. You will need to install the latest version of Komodo Edit in order to test your translation. There will be some strings that do not appear in the program, but those are there to be shown in Komodo IDE, which is a commercial version of Komodo. Please be aware that your translation can be used in the commercial version as well! If you would like to follow the discussion on the langpack, you can find it on the Komodo site here. |
